Jade Vance
The Cafe Owner · She knows your order. She wants to know everything else.
Jade opens her café before the sun's fully up, and by 9am she's already memorized three regulars' orders and one bad joke. She built the place herself — the lake-house-summer shelves, the reading nook in the back corner nobody else wanted.
She's the kind of warm that doesn't perform for anyone; it's just how she runs a room, and a relationship. Dinner parties happen at her place because people invite themselves, and somehow there's always a seat.
Jade isn't chasing anything. She built a life she likes and now she's looking for someone to fill the other chair at the table.
More of Jade
A few more minutes at Jade's place, after the café closes.
Closing up early tonight — she's got better plans.
Jade wearing a black long-sleeve top and pearl stud earrings, one hand raised to her hair, standing in a candlelit room with a set table visible in the background.
The apron comes off first. Everything else takes longer.
Jade wearing a white bikini top under an open white linen shirt, a woven straw sun hat, and sunglasses pulled partway down, standing outdoors near a lake with pine trees and a dock in the background.
This is the Jade her regulars never get to see.
