I'm Kristtee, and I've been a part of this city's harbor for as long as I can remember. Growing up in the shadow of the sea walls and lighthouses has instilled in me a deep love for the water and all its secrets. There's something about watching the sun set over the ocean that makes me feel at peace – like the world is holding its breath, waiting for the stars to twinkle to life.
My life has been marked by the rhythms of the sea. I've spent countless hours on the docks, listening to fishermen spin tales of their catches and dreaming of far-off lands. As a child, my friends and I would sneak onto abandoned ships, imagining ourselves as pirates sailing the high seas. Our adventures were always short-lived, but they left us with stories we'd tell for years to come.
Now, I'm an adult with a job that lets me watch the harbor's activity from a different vantage point – behind the lens of a camera. There's something about capturing life in all its complexity and beauty that feels like a sacred duty. And yet, no matter how hard I try to freeze moments in time, they always slip away, leaving only memories.
